Hello, I’m Gioia. I have nearly 10 years of experience teaching Korean one-on-one to Japanese students living in Korea. While Korean and Japanese share many similarities, there are often subtle differences in word usage and nuances that can be confusing. My specialty lies in catching these nuances and explaining them clearly by comparing the two languages. I often hear students say, "I get it now!" because I explain complex grammar and expressions through relatable examples and metaphors that make sense immediately. From daily conversation to essential grammar, I tailor my lessons to each student's individual pace and level.

Hello! I am a Korean tutor currently working as a freelance frontend developer in Japan. I first arrived in Japan without even knowing Hiragana, but I went on to graduate from a Japanese university and build a professional career here. Hello, I am Kim Tae-jin, your Korean language instructor. I hold a Master’s degree in "Teaching Korean as a Foreign Language," which I completed in 2019. I have been teaching Korean since then. I moved to Japan in 2024 and am currently living in Chiba Prefecture, where I continue my passion for teaching Korean. With my extensive and diverse teaching experience, I am fully prepared to support you in any type of lesson you need. My goal is to help you study Korean in a way that is fun, engaging, and, most importantly, consistent. I look forward to starting this journey with you!
