Hello! My name is Maurice, and I am an experienced English tutor with over 15 years of teaching in classrooms and online. I hold a Bachelor of Education degree and a TEFL certification, which allow me to confidently teach conversational English, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, listening, and writing. I also specialize in preparing students for international exams such as IELTS, TOEFL, and SAT.

My teaching style is interactive, practical, and learner-centered. I believe that learning English is not only about mastering grammar rules but also about gaining confidence, improving fluency, and using the language naturally in everyday life—whether for travel, studies, hobbies, or work. I personalize each lesson according to my student’s goals and ensure that our sessions are both engaging and effective.

Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading, blogging, watching documentaries, and swimming. These hobbies often bring real-life context into my lessons, making learning more dynamic and enjoyable.
