【About Me】 Hello everyone! I’m Yoko, a Japanese language teacher based in Tokyo.

I lived in the United States (Tennessee and Houston, Texas) for 10 years. During my time there, I organized over 100 Japanese culture workshops for local communities. I absolutely love sharing authentic Japanese culture and everyday life!

In my lessons, you won't just memorize grammar—we will also explore Japanese culture, seasonal traditions, home-cooked meals, and real life in Tokyo.

【Lessons Offered】

? Beginner Level We will learn the basics step-by-step using the "GENKI" textbook. Full English support is available, so please don't worry if you are a complete beginner!

? Intermediate Level We will focus on expanding your vocabulary through fun topics like seasonal traditions and annual events, boosting your confidence to speak more naturally.

? Advanced Level We will discuss your favorite topics and dive deeper into Japanese culture, history, and unique cultural perspectives.

? Japanese Culture Session (English OK!) Perfect for those who want to discover Japanese history and traditions. Drawing from my experience hosting over 100 workshops, I will guide you through fascinating topics such as the Edo period, tea ceremony, Japanese cuisine (Washoku), and seasonal customs.

My goal is not only to teach the language, but also to help you feel even closer to Japan. I look forward to meeting you in class!
