＜Native Japanese Speaker | National Licensed Guide-Interpreter | Relaxed Japanese Conversation＞

Do you know some Japanese, but feel nervous when it’s time to actually speak?

Hello! I was born and raised in Japan, and I hold Japan’s national license for guide-interpreters. I have worked at an airline and a trading company, including an overseas assignment, so I have spent many years communicating with people from different countries.

I learned English as a non-native speaker and came to use it in real work. So I know the feeling of understanding a language but freezing when you have to speak it. That’s why I want my lessons to be a place where you can take your time, make mistakes, and learn at your own pace.

My lessons focus on relaxed, practical conversation. We practise everyday situations such as ordering food, shopping, and chatting with friends, using simple role-plays. I’ll correct your mistakes kindly and explain things in simple English.

This is a good fit for you if:

・You want to speak Japanese more naturally in daily life (all levels are welcome)
・You feel nervous about speaking and want a no-pressure place to practise
・You want to practise real situations, such as eating out, shopping, or meeting friends
・You are preparing for a trip to Japan

I love Japanese history, food, and culture, and I enjoy sharing them. I also love travelling, and I’ve been to many places around the world, mainly in Asia, Europe, and the U.S. I’m a big fan of world history and art museums, and I enjoy watching soccer, the NBA, and the NFL. As you get more comfortable, we can talk about the things you love, too.
