Hi!
I’m from Japan and have been living on a small Mediterranean island—Malta—since 2019.
I studied English, Spanish, and Phonetics at university, and also completed a Japanese language teaching course. I’ve always loved learning and teaching languages!

I have experience teaching Japanese at a language school in Japan, and now I teach both Japanese and English online.
For Japanese lessons, many of my students enjoy free conversation practice to sound more natural when speaking. For beginners, I often mix in English to help them feel comfortable and understand better.
For English lessons, most of my students are Japanese learners who already know grammar well but want more speaking practice. I mainly teach in English, but I can switch to Japanese when needed for clarity.

Living in Malta has allowed me to meet people from all over the world and understand many different cultures and ways of communication.
This experience helps me adapt my lessons to each student’s background, learning style, and goals.

In my lessons, I always try to create an atmosphere where you can:

  • Feel relaxed, like chatting with a friend
  • Learn at your own pace based on your strengths and needs
  • Speak freely without worrying about mistakes

I love traveling, and I often take short trips around Europe on weekends.
If you enjoy talking about travel, cultures, or languages, we’ll have plenty to chat about!
