Seodam 讲师的个人介绍
Hi! I’m Seodam, your Korean friend : )
I was born and raised in Korea. But I really love foreign languages, I’ve studied several languages such as Japanese, English, and Chinese.
I genuinely enjoy making friends from other countries and talking about different cultures. Since I was young, I’ve taken part in mentoring programs, language exchanges, cultural exchange activities, and even student exchange programs.
Through these experiences, I’ve naturally interacted with people from many different countries and had lots of chances to introduce Korean language and culture along the way.
Until now, I’ve mainly helped foreigners living in Korea. So I’m very happy that I can meet and support you now through Cafetalk.
I want to help you enjoy learning Korean in a way that feels fun, comfortable, and sustainable—so you don’t give up halfway.
My lesson goal is simple:
A relaxed, fun class where you can talk a lot!
Because I’ve studied multiple foreign languages myself, I truly understand the struggles— “Why is this so hard?”
“My mind goes blank when I try to speak.” I’ve been there too.
That’s why I tailor my lessons to your Korean level and learning pace, keeping everything pressure-free. When Korean feels difficult, I’ll fully understand how you feel and cheer you on every step of the way.
Making mistakes is totally okay—actually, speaking a lot (even with mistakes!) is how you improve.
In my lessons, you can speak freely without worrying about getting things wrong.
If there are expressions that could sound more natural, I’ll give you feedback in a warm and easy-to-understand way, without making you feel uncomfortable.
In class, we won’t focus on stiff textbook Korean. Instead, you’ll learn natural expressions that real Koreans actually use—the kind you’ll hear when you visit Korea. You might even pick up some trendy expressions too!
And Korea has so much more to offer than just K-pop. I’d love to share the charm of Korean culture with you through casual conversations.
