Hi, my name is Mots'elisi. You can call me Teacher Precious. English has been a medium of instruction in my learning since Grade R to tertiar. Therefore, i am a native English speaker. I have 5 years of experience teaching students of all ages and abilities both online and offline.
As a TEFL-certified instructor, I teach conversational English, pronunciation, grammar, and punctuation. When appropriate, I also use Total Physical Response (TPR) to improve learning efficacy. I also use Communicative Language Teaching (CLT): In my classroom, this method promotes the use of authentic and meaningful communication. My students are encouraged to participate actively in speaking and listening exercises in order to improve their language skills. My emphasis is on real-life scenarios and the use of functional language. I am unquestionably a capable instructor who can provide you with high-quality instruction.
I use a communicative and student-centered approach in my teaching. I have students who obtained straight As and Bs in English. I am very patient, persistant and creative. I believe in inclusive education, where every student has an equal opportunity to learn. I am always looking for new and innovative ways to engage my students and make learning English fun and exciting. I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in English education, and I am always eager to learn and develop my own skills as a teacher.
I emphasize on practical language use and real-life applications. I modify my teaching style, pace, and content to your learning preferences and goals. In other words, I will create a unique learning experience for you. Having been to several places and encountered various cultures, I place a premium on cross-cultural awareness. I also help my students build cultural competence in addition to their ability to speak.
