Hello there!こんにちわ！！


はじめまして。麻田ルミーです。日本とフィリピンのハーフです。今は、日本でアシスタントランゲージティーチャーやっています。
My name is Asada Rumy. I'm Japanese-Filipino, currently living in Japan. I'm working as an Assistant Language Teacher here in Japan and making my way into online teaching.

小中学生に英語を教えた経験があります。日本人学生に教えることを楽しんでいます。
I have taught English to Elementary and Junior High School students. And I have been enjoying teaching Japanese students. Here are my photos doing my self-introduction for junior high school and elementary students respectively.

 


私の趣味は、読書、音楽を聞く、映画とアニメを見たり写真を撮ることです。
My hobbies are reading, listening to music, watching movies and anime and taking pictures.

日本語はまだマスターしていませんけどなるべく日本語でレッスンをできるように最前を尽くします!
I’m not yet fluent in Japanese but I will try my best to support the lesson in Japanese if necessary.

As an English teacher, I want to provide a relaxed environment for my students to enjoy learning. English is my second language, so I can relate much with people who's been learning another language. I know how hard it can be and how frustrating not to be able to see your progress. 

I will help you to identify what level you are in and identify your learning style. I want to start with a clear goal and motivation of learning the English language. Then devise a proper lesson to fit your goals. To see your learning progress, we can evaluate your performance using different pointers to gauge the goals that you are trying to achieve. As we go through the lessons, we can make adjustments base on your performance and style and use what's best fit for you.

I look forward in meeting you as my student and help you with your learning journey! Let’s enjoy learning English together!
