Hi, I’m Keira!

Born and raised in England, I grew up as the middle child in a noisy household with four sisters. 

After building a career in events, marketing and communications, working on everything from creative campaigns to large-scale conferences and weddings, I’m now excited to share my love of the English language and creative arts with others.

A Little About Me

• Before becoming a tutor, I spent five years working in events and marketing for some of the biggest names in sport and consumer brands. I've helped bring all sorts of ambitious ideas to life, from spectacular weddings to art fairs, and much more.
• I’ve recently bought my first home, where I spend my time writing mystery novels on my trusty Scheidegger typewriter.
• I LOVE turning ideas into fun, interactive projects. If there's a way to make learning more imaginative and magical, I'm all for it!

How Do My Lessons Work?

I'm a firm believer that everyone learns differently. Whether you're a beginner or looking to build on what you've already learnt in the classroom, my lessons are designed to meet you where you are.

I combine prepared, interactive resources with a flexible approach, so we can follow a structured activity or adapt the lesson to suit your interests and goals.

My Teaching Style

I believe learning should be engaging, encouraging and tailored to you. I aim to create a relaxed environment where you can ask questions, experiment with ideas and learn at your own pace.

Rather than simply memorising information, my lessons use specially designed resources and activities to help you put what you learn into practice.

Depending on your interests and goals, we might:

• Explore English: Develop your grammar, vocabulary, reading and writing skills through engaging activities.
• Get Creative with Words: Create characters, build imaginary worlds, and experiment with poetry.
• Discover Design: Explore colour, typography, visual communication and creative problem-solving through hands-on projects.
• Learn Through Challenges: Solve puzzles, untangle mixed-up sentences, uncover hidden messages and take on imaginative creative challenges.

My aim is to make learning feel less like a chore and more like an opportunity to discover what you can do. Mistakes are part of the process, and there's always room to experiment, ask questions and try something new
