Hi!
My name is Daniel and I'm from Spain.
I studied Psychology there, spezializing in Counselling and General Health Psychology. I've have worked as a psychologist, but also as an educator, a dancer and a dance teacher.
As an educator, I worked at YMCA Spain, where I helped children and teenagers with their homework with subjects like English, Spanish, Math, and Chemistry, among others. Working with students from different nationalities, added to my background in psychology, has given me a better understanding of cognitive and behavioral aspects, as well as tools to communicate in a dynamic and effective way.
My teaching method is based on conversational practice. Although I include some theory and vocabulary in the lessons, I try to make sure students acquire vocabulary through practice and repetition.
Some of my hobbies include dancing, video games, anime, and music — especially pop music — so these are topics we could talk about. However, I’m a curious person, so I’m open to many other topics as well. Feel free to tell me what you’d like to talk about!
