Hi! I'm John, from the USA.
I lived in Japan for five years and was employed both as a gaijin talent and as an English teacher (for Honda and Toyota). I've also taught high school students.
I was based in Tokyo and Sapporo.
Most of my talent agency jobs were based outside of Tokyo, so I've traveled extensively in Japan.
I'm TESOL certified and graduated with a BA in Economics from the University of California at Santa Barbara. I have experience tutoring accent reduction to intermediate and advanced level English students.
I speak intermediate-level Japanese and German.
My hobbies are internal martial arts.
As a digital nomad, I write fiction.
