Self Introduction
Hi! I'm Ana, a Venezuelan living in Spain, and I’m passionate about languages, creativity, and helping others learn in a fun and meaningful way. I studied English from a very young age through music and TV shows, and later spent a few months in the U.S., where I also volunteered as an English tutor.
I study video game development and 3D animation and I’ve been teaching for over four years. I’m calm, patient, and kind, and I love using interactive and creative approaches to keep classes dynamic and adapted to my students’ interests.
What truly inspires me to teach is the chance to help others reach their personal and professional goals, whether it's passing an exam, feeling more confident when traveling, or having deeper conversations in a new language. I also love the cultural exchange that naturally happens during classes. I’ve learned so much from my students’ stories and perspectives, and that motivates me every day.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy painting, video games, fashion, cooking, and art. All of which often inspire the materials I bring into class.
Teaching Experience and Teaching style
I’ve been teaching for over four years, both online and in-person. My experience includes one-on-one lessons, working with students of different ages, from children (8+) to teenagers and adults, and at all levels, from beginner to advanced.
In class, I like to adapt to the student's needs and goals. I’ve helped students prepare for official exams such as Cambridge and TOEFL, get ready for job interviews, and improve their overall fluency and confidence. I often use digital textbooks, audio materials, songs, articles, and visual resources, and I make sure to adjust the material depending on each student's level and interests.
Overall, my goal is to create a supportive and interactive learning space where students feel comfortable, engaged, and motivated to keep improving.
