Hi! I’m Elaine. I’m friendly and approachable. I love connecting with people and learning about different cultures. When I’m not teaching, I love DIY projects, home renovations, and traveling. I’ve also had the chance to work in different industries over the years—from restaurant and clothing to insurance and even the corporate world handling US and Australian telecom clients. These experiences allow me to relate to many different topics, which makes conversations with my students more engaging and natural.

I’ve been teaching English online for more than 8 years, working with students mostly from Japan, Korea, Taiwan, China, and Vietnam, as well as a few learners from Saudi Arabia and France. I have a degree in Psychology, I’m TEFL-certified, and I have a C2 level in grammar and listening. Over the years, I’ve guided learners of different ages and levels, helping them become more confident and fluent in English for study, travel, work, and daily life.

My lessons are relaxed, conversation-focused, and tailored to your goals. I want you to feel comfortable expressing yourself in English, while still providing the professional structure and feedback needed for real progress.
