Nice to meet you! I’m Tommy, a Japanese language tutor. During my student years, I studied abroad in Taiwan and the Philippines for short-term programs, where I studied Chinese and English. So, while my experience is limited, I can communicate somewhat in these two languages. I have experience working at a travel agency in Japan, where I valued customer service and conversation skills. I currently live in Taiwan, while working as a fledging teacher at a Japanese language school. I’m here to help everyone learn Japanese. My lessons focus on conversation and aim to be enjoyable, making sure even beginner level learners as well as those lacking confidence in speaking can participate comfortably at a gentle, careful pace. Don’t worry about making mistakes—let’s just chat a lot! I’ll adjust the lesson to your pace, so please relax and join me. I look forward to meeting you!
