Hello, Kia ora.

My name is Carla. I live in Christchurch, New Zealand, but I work for an Australian Airline as an International Cabin Manager.
I have just completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Japanese.
I lived in Nagoya, Japan, for one semester in 2024 as an International exchange student at Nagoya University of Foreign Studies. 

I travel to Japan once a year to help improve my Japanese speaking and to immerse myself in Japanese culture. I love eating kitsune udon, natto maki, and tempura don. I love reading Manga and watching Anime.

While I studied as an international student in Japan, I tutored Japanese students in English 3 times per week and would love to continue supporting students with their English skills.

I have gained many skills from teaching and tutoring over the years of employment as a Flight Attendant and now a Cabin Manager. My job is to train and coach new staff; therefore, I have developed a passion and love for teaching and tutoring that will assist all my students in achieving their goals as language learners. 

My lessons are fun, easy and conversational. If you would like to talk about travel, animals, exercise and food, you have come to the right place.
