Who I am

My name is Yeshi. I am a passionate ESL Instructor with 16+ years of international teaching experience delivering impactful English lessons to students online. I'm skilled at creating lesson plans that help students improve their fluency, confidence, pronunciation, and communication skills for adult learners. I can also teach writing and grammar to nonnative writers, and I'm experienced in working with local governments to deliver trainings and seminars on Western business English, professionalism, and customer care.

My Teaching Style

When it comes to my approach, I teach to each student's individual needs. I believe that every student is able to learn English with effective lessons and the right support. I help you gain confidence in your ability to speak by giving you lots of talk time with careful corrections. 

Accent Reduction and Pronunciation Lessons 

Looking for accent reduction and pronunciation lessons? I can help. I have successfully helped many students sound better in a matter of weeks. All it takes are lessons with me and ten to fifteen mintues a day of practice at home in front of the mirror and a way to record yourself, and you're all set. 

Grammar Lessons

If you need to learn grammar and time tenses, I can help you. I have taken seven grammar courses and one editor training course. I can teach you grammar in a fun, simple, and effective way with lots of practice through direct use. No tears, no pain -I promise.

Writing Lessons/ Diary Exchange

I offer diary exchange and writing lessons for anyone who wants to be a better business writer, an academic writer, or a storyteller. I'm a published writer and skilled editor with five years of experience. I have been teaching writing classes through a diary exchange program here in Japan. It's so much fun! Why not give it a try? The corrections you receive from me are easy to understand, and I'm always available if you have questions.
