Being a single mom has taught me patience, empathy, and resilience — qualities that flow into my teaching every day. I understand that learning a new language can feel overwhelming, so my lessons are built on encouragement, humor, and celebrating every small success.

My teaching style:

  • Student-centered: Your goals shape the lesson, not the other way around.

  • Practical & interactive: I use real-life situations so you can apply English outside the classroom.

  • Empathetic & supportive: I create a safe space where mistakes are part of the journey, not something to fear.

What makes me unique?
I’ve worked with children, teenagers, and adults from all walks of life — from shy beginners to confident professionals. What truly sets me apart is that I don’t just teach English, I connect with people. I listen deeply, adapt quickly, and motivate you to see progress even on days when you doubt yourself. My students often say I make English feel “less like studying and more like a conversation with a friend.”

A little about me:
I live in Cape Town, South Africa, where the mountains meet the ocean. Outside of teaching, I love reading, exploring new places with my son, and learning about different cultures through my students. Teaching isn’t just a job for me — it’s my passion, because every lesson is a chance to change someone’s future.
