I’m an American from Indiana with a deep love for language, people, and culture. My husband and I have been married for 13 years — and he’s truly my best friend! We love laughing, spending time together, and traveling as a family. 

Before I became a wife and mom, I lived in Kobe, Japan for two amazing years, teaching English to students of all ages — from preschoolers and school-aged children to housewives and retired businessmen.

One of my lifelong dreams was to take my family to Japan, and that dream came true recently! It was such a joy to introduce my husband and three kids to the country that has captured my heart. I even had the chance to reconnect with former students!

Now, I’m excited to return to teaching English online — offering fun, personalized lessons that help you build confidence and enjoy learning. Whether you're a beginner, a busy mom, a young professional, or simply want to practice conversation, I’m here to support you with patience and encouragement.

My teaching style is relaxed, easygoing, and relationship-based. I want our lessons to feel natural and enjoyable — like chatting with a friend. My goal is to create a comfortable space where you can learn and laugh at the same time.

We can talk about anything you're interested in — travel, daily life, cooking, music, movies, or even Christianity and the Bible if you're curious. I believe language learning should be fun and meaningful, and I love helping students gain confidence through real connection and conversation.

I’m also learning Japanese, so I truly understand the challenges (and joys!) of learning a new language. Let’s take it step by step — no pressure, just progress.
