Hi there! I’m Dr. Shalom—world traveler, language lover, and your next favorite English teacher! ?✈️
With over 10 years of ESL teaching experience in classrooms and online—and having lived and worked in more than 50 countries (and visited 50 more!)—I bring a truly global perspective to every lesson. From the streets of Taiwan to the hills of Bulgaria, and the cafés of Prague to remote online classrooms, I’ve taught students of all ages, backgrounds, and goals.
When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me camping, hiking, experimenting in the kitchen with new recipes, or spending quality time with my two amazing kids and our loyal labrador-husky mix, Jake ?. Life should be fun—and so should learning!
In my classroom, you’ll find a relaxed, supportive environment where it’s okay to make mistakes and celebrate progress. I’m very patient and I tailor each lesson to YOU—your interests, your pace, and your goals. Whether you want to boost your conversation skills, prep for an exam, learn business or legal English, or just build confidence, I’ve got you covered.
