I have been taking lessons with Koyuki Sensei since October 2023, and throughout that time I have been consistently impressed with the quality of her teaching. When I started, I had almost no knowledge of Japanese. Since then, we have worked through the Genki 1 and Genki 2 textbooks together, and we are now about to begin Quartet. What I appreciate most about Koyuki Sensei's teaching style is the balance she strikes between patience, encouragement, and challenge. Her lessons are always enjoyable and engaging, but she also knows how to push me in the right way so that I continue to improve and stay motivated. She is highly adaptable and is always able to tailor her approach to my individual needs as a learner. I genuinely look forward to every lesson and feel motivated to study between sessions, often thinking ahead to what we will cover next. 今天再次跟老師上了一堂非常開心的會話課。我與老師輪流指定會話主題，並根據課前閱讀文章互相提問與回答。針對日本文化中細緻的問題，老師不但當場詳細解釋，課後還補充了相關內容，真的讓我非常感動。跟老師學習不僅內容充實，上課氣氛也非常溫暖，真心推薦！ 今日もとても楽しい会話レッスンを受けることができました。先生と交互にテーマを指定して、事前に読んだテキストに基づいて質問したり答えたりしました。日本文化の細かい疑問についても、先生は詳しく説明してくれるだけでなく、レッスンの後にも補足の資料を送ってくださり、本当に感動しました。先生のレッスンは内容がとても充実していて、雰囲気もとても温かいです！

My first lesson with Yumi Sensei was great. She took the time to listen to my background and future goals with Japanese and catered to what I want to learn. She is a skilled teacher and has excellent English which was a great support when I was not sure how to explain what I wanted to say in Japanese.

ライティングと、speaking でお世話になっております。気が付けば3年以上お願いしてます。時事ネタ、トランプネタ、先生の話題の提供力も優れていていつも楽しいです。
