Class Overview
This class is designed for mid- to upper-elementary students who already have a foundation in English and are ready to think, speak, and read more deeply in the language.
Lessons focus on developing academic English skills while keeping classes engaging and age-appropriate. Students are encouraged to express ideas clearly, ask questions, and connect what they learn to the real world.
What We Do in Class
Each lesson follows a clear structure so students feel confident and know what to expect.
- Warm-up conversation to activate background knowledge
- Guided reading using Oxford texts
- Vocabulary and language focus from the unit
- Speaking activities to explain ideas and opinions
- Simple critical thinking tasks such as comparing, predicting, or giving reasons
- Short review and reflection at the end of the lesson
Lessons are interactive and supportive, with plenty of chances for the student to speak in complete sentences.

- Elementary school students, roughly ages 7 to 10
- Learners who can already read simple chapter books or longer passages
- Students who enjoy learning English and want more challenge
