Is your child bilingual in English and Japanese and ready to build stronger skills in reading and writing? This lesson is designed to support bilingual children in a fun and engaging way. I am raising two bilingual sons myself!

We can use any and all resources you already have access to, such as Oxford Reading Tree, Cambridge Primary, Twinkl, and more, to create a customized learning experience. Together, we can focus on:

Reading practice with leveled books and stories
Phonics & spelling games to build confidence
Writing activities that connect to what your child is reading
Story discussions to encourage comprehension and critical thinking
Reading challenges & progress tracking to keep motivation high

Lesson Style

Short, after-school sessions (once or twice a week)
Playful activities such as flashcards, games, and storytelling
Flexible pacing, starting small and building up as your child grows more confident

The goal is to nurture your child’s love of reading while helping them develop English literacy skills step by step.
