Lesson Pack Details
This is a 4-lesson pack. You will be issued 3 “coupons” when the first request is confirmed. You will be able to use these coupons for subsequent requests in the pack. Please note that all requests related to this pack must be taken within 50 days of the first lesson date.

Why read children's stories to learn English?
When I was a child, I was not very studious. I did not study my subjects in school. But there's one thing I really liked to do. I loved to read! I read all the children's stories I could get my hands on.
I did not study English grammar at all. But I always got excellent results in my English tests.
As a teenager, I read novels, autobiographies, history books, and even the entire Bible!
All I did was to read interesting and entertaining stories, and I was admitted to the University of the Philippines as a Social Science major with a full scholarship. I even attended two international universities in Japan on a full scholarship.

If you want a solid English foundation, I recommend reading English stories.

Why read children's stories? because they are fun and intriguing. They are not technical, so they are not tedious and boring.

Through reading, you acquire vocabulary and learn sentence structure and grammar the natural way.

This lesson is both for children as well as adult beginners and intermediate English learners who enjoy reading.

I will provide the link for the story to be read. If a student wants to recommend a story, please send me the link ahead of time.* * *
There are at least two ways we can conduct this lesson:
First, I will read sentence by sentence (or paragraph by paragraph) and the student will repeat after me.
Second, if the student is more advanced, they will read while I listen and provide pronunciation and intonation corrections, if needed.
And if there's still time, we can talk about what we've read.

Cancellation of pack lessons
• 'Unstarted' lesson packs(1) can be cancelled any time. Used Points will be completely refunded. If a 'started' lesson pack(2) is cancelled, you will be refunded 50% of the price of the remaining lessons provided that the lessons are unrequested, unconfirmed or not within 24 hours of their scheduled start times.
(1) A lesson pack for which none of the requests have been confirmed by the tutor.
(2) A lesson pack with at least one confirmed request. (By confirming the date and time for the first lesson in the pack the tutor confirms the pack as a whole and coupons are automatically issued)

Cancelling individual requests in a pack
• If you wish to cancel a single lesson that belongs to a pack but not the whole pack, you can do so via the request page. In this case, the coupon used to book the lesson will either be refunded or collected, based on the tutors single-lesson cancellation policy. Please note that any 50% partial refunds in the tutors single-lesson cancellation policy do not apply to lesson packs and the tutor may choose to either refund or collect the coupon in those cases.
This lesson is “Immediately Confirmed”
If the requested date falls within 30 days, the request will be “confirmed” immediately without having to wait for the tutor to reply.
Requests will be confirmed immdiately expect the first one of a pack. If confirmed immediately, the policy “before request is confirmed” will not apply.
