35 Minutes | 3,500 Points

You may have studied English for years, but do you sometimes struggle to express your ideas during meetings or conversations with international colleagues?

Perhaps you know what you want to say but can’t find the right words quickly enough.

Or maybe you can understand English reasonably well but feel uncomfortable answering unexpected questions.

This lesson helps you turn the English you already know into practical workplace communication skills.

Who Is This Lesson For?

This lesson is ideal for lower-intermediate to advanced learners who want to:

  • Speak more confidently in meetings.
  • Explain their ideas clearly and naturally.
  • Respond to unexpected questions.
  • Discuss workplace problems and solutions.
  • Improve their professional vocabulary.
  • Communicate more effectively with international colleagues.

You don’t need perfect grammar or advanced vocabulary to participate.

What Will We Do?

Each 35-minute lesson focuses on one practical workplace communication challenge.

For example:

  • Explaining a problem to your manager.
  • Giving a short project update.
  • Asking for clarification during a meeting.
  • Expressing an opinion or making a suggestion.
  • Responding to a colleague’s question.
  • Explaining a decision or deadline.

Whenever possible, we’ll use situations from your actual work.

  1. Speak: Explain your idea in your own English.
  2. Improve: I’ll help you develop clearer, more natural expressions.
  3. Practice Again: You’ll immediately try again using what you’ve learned.

This helps you build practical speaking skills rather than simply memorizing expressions.

すでに知っている英語を、仕事で実際に使える英語に変えていきましょう。

難しい単語や完璧な文法を使う必要はありません。

レッスン内容

35分のレッスンでは、仕事でよくある場面を一つ選び、集中的に練習します。

例えば：

  • 上司に問題を説明する
  • プロジェクトの進捗を報告する
  • 会議で質問や確認をする
  • 自分の意見や提案を伝える
  • 同僚からの質問に答える
  • 決定事項や締め切りについて説明する

できるだけ、皆さんの実際のお仕事に関連した場面を取り上げます。

レッスンの進め方

話す → 改善する → もう一度話す

  1. 話す： まずは自分の英語で考えを伝えてみましょう。
  2. 改善する： より自然でわかりやすい表現を一緒に考えます。
  3. もう一度話す： 学んだ表現を使って、同じ内容をもう一度伝えてみましょう。

間違いを恐れる必要はありません。

大切なのは、英語を実際に使いながら、少しずつ伝える力を伸ばすことです。
