In this lesson, we talk about a strange true story: a dog that became the mayor of a small town. The story is unusual, surprising, and perfect for starting a deep and interesting conversation.
First, I’ll explain the main points of the story in clear, simple English. Then we discuss it together. While you speak, I correct your mistakes in real time and give you more natural vocabulary, expressions, and pronunciation tips.
After the story, we choose one theme to explore in more depth (leadership and responsibility, trust in politicians, community values, protest voting, symbolism in politics, and why people choose unconventional leaders). This helps you speak for longer and more confidently.
At the end of the lesson, I give short feedback on your progress and areas to improve, so you know exactly what to work on next time.
