Reading aloud – you provide the text
Kursinhalt
Practise your pronunciation by reading an article in English aloud. I am a native English speaker with a neutral English accent, so I can help you to identify areas for improvement:
Before the lesson:
You will send me a text or news/sports article in English that you want to practise reading aloud in the lesson.
During the lesson:

I can read the text aloud first so that you can hear how to pronounce it and ask any questions about the meaning of words and phrases.

You can then read the text or article aloud and I will listen, quietly noting any mistakes in pronunciation.

After you have finished reading a section, I will highlight ways you can correct and improve your pronunciation.

You can then ask further questions and practise pronouncing specific words.

If we have time, you can either practise reading the article again, or we can read another article together.

If the article is long, we can read it in stages over several lessons.
Please note: This lesson is not suitable for absolute beginners.
