Descrizioni

Practise your pronunciation by reading an article in English aloud. I am a native English speaker with a neutral English accent, so I can help you to identify areas for improvement:

Before the lesson:

You will send me a text or news/sports article in English that you want to practise reading aloud in the lesson.  

During the lesson:

  • I can read the text aloud first so that you can hear how to pronounce it and ask any questions about the meaning of words and phrases. 

  • You can then read the text or article aloud and I will listen, quietly noting any mistakes in pronunciation.

  • After you have finished reading a section, I will highlight ways you can correct and improve your pronunciation.

  • You can then ask further questions and practise pronouncing specific words.

  • If we have time, you can either practise reading the article again, or we can read another article together.

  • If the article is long, we can read it in stages over several lessons. 

Please note: This lesson is not suitable for absolute beginners.
