● Most adjectives that describe personality and character can be used with either ser or estar.
● With ser, the adjective expresses a characteristic that is unique to a person, that is, one that is inherent to them.
● On the other hand, with estar, the adjective expresses a quality that is not unique to the person, but rather that they possess temporarily. It is something circumstantial.
