Master the “TH” Sound
Подробности урока
Lesson Flow:
1. Warm-up (5 min)
Ask: “Which English sound is difficult for you?”
2. Mouth Position Explanation (10 min)
/θ/ = think, three
/ð/ = this, they
Students repeat after tutor (slow + normal speed).
3. Minimal Pairs Practice (10 min)
think / sink
thank / tank
those / dose
Students listen + repeat + choose the correct sound.
4. Sentence Practice (10 min)
“They think this is their book.”
“Thank you for the three things.”
Student reads slowly → tutor corrects.
5. Listening Challenge (10 min)
Tutor reads words → student identifies the TH sound.
6. Wrap-up (5 min)
Student chooses one sentence and reads it confidently.
