"under the A1" (Newbie) is the first and lowest level used on the Chinese Grammar and easy vocabularies. It is roughly equivalent to HSK Level 0-1.

- Once the tutor confirms the first request, “100% OFF coupons” that can be used for the remaining 3 requests will be issued automatically.
- You can use these coupons to send requests for the remaining lessons.
- The validity period for this lesson pack is 90 days starting from the scheduled date and time of the first confirmed lesson.

Even if the first scheduled lesson is canceled, the already set validity period will not change.

In this package, I hope you will have classes regularly, the customized lesson plan which I made for you will be initiated in the 3rd class. How lovely!

Cancellation of pack lessons

• 'Unstarted' lesson packs⁽¹⁾ can be cancelled any time. Used Points will be completely refunded. If a 'started' lesson pack⁽²⁾ is cancelled, you will be refunded 50% of the price of the remaining lessons provided that the lessons are unrequested, unconfirmed or not within 24 hours of their scheduled start times.

(1) A lesson pack for which none of the requests have been confirmed by the tutor.
(2) A lesson pack with at least one confirmed request. (By confirming the date and time for the first lesson in the pack the tutor confirms the pack as a whole and coupons are automatically issued)

Cancelling individual requests in a pack

• If you wish to cancel a single lesson that belongs to a pack but not the whole pack, you can do so via the request page. In this case, the coupon used to book the lesson will either be refunded or collected, based on the tutors single-lesson cancellation policy. Please note that any 50% partial refunds in the tutors single-lesson cancellation policy do not apply to lesson packs and the tutor may choose to either refund or collect the coupon in those cases.

Today I learned some special rules for particular tones that would make anyone speak like a native one! I was sooooooooo amazed that there were such rules. Haven't heard them before! No wonder I was confused until she'd highlighted these stuff in class. It'd be way easier for me to figure out these tone rules whenever I encounter the given phrases and sentences again. I especially loved how observant was Daisy Laoshi. It's kind of embarrassing that I was a little lost and confused in our class for a moment, but she could simply read her student's expressions and reactions. Then, she creatively give me a way to understand things better afterward!! Wow, many thanks Laoshie! That's the reason why your class has that great atmosphere for your aspiring Mandarin students. This lesson is very rich in content as you elaborated things well to me. I've been also collecting all the supplementary files and link you're sending me before and after the class. Xie xie ni. Aside from that, you made sure that I got the correct pronunciation before we jump to another vocabulary. In that way, I could track some room for improvements that I need to brush up on soon. So, thank you for that! You were very patient although it's really hard for me to get the right tone and diction. There were no dull moments in my learning experience with you. After taking the level check, I have no doubt taking the package lesson as it's so rich in content. Daisy Laoshi is a very considerate teacher. She makes sure that you're getting your learning goals and that leaves me a deep impression on her. She is easy to get along with that I feel really comfortable in her class. I don't feel intimidated at all with my beginner level. She's indeed very patient! No wonder why the students easily fall in love with her classes. Receiving the lesson material in advance is pretty much helpful since I can review them before the class. And what surprises me the most and my favorite part of her teaching style is the additional fun insights that are not in the lesson material. I find the simple characters easy to remember because of that. Thank you so much Laoshi. I learned not only writing simple characters but also reading and some more elaborated knowledge. Daisy Laoshi is one of the best Mandarin tutor here in Cafetalk. Her classes are indeed fun. She make sure that she's meeting your Mandarin goal. It's pretty tough to deal with a beginner like me but she has lots of patience for her students.
