    2. Explain at least 3 key reasons why the early years (birth–8) are critical for lifelong learning and development.
    3. Describe the main roles and qualities of an effective early childhood educator.
    4. Reflect on their own motivation for entering the field.
  • Activity: Quick “Think-Pair-Share”
    Ask: “What is your earliest positive memory of learning or being cared for as a young child?”
  • Briefly share a powerful statistic:
    “90% of a child’s brain development occurs by age 5.”
