Learn basic knots of Macramé!
레슨 상세 내용
In this lesson you will learn basic Macrame knots. With these knots as your foundation you will be able to create various designs. It's suitable for beginners - adults and children.
What is Macrame?
Macramé is a form of textile produced using knotting (rather than weaving or knitting) techniques.
What are the primary knots of Macrame?
The primary knots of macramé are the square (or reef knot) and forms of "hitching": various combinations of half hitches.
Brief History:
The earliest roots of what we now consider Macrame date back to roughly the 13th century. The term macrame comes from a decorative knotting technique used by Arab weavers on embroidered cloths called “migramah”. These knots kept the ends of the cloth from fraying while also creating the beautiful fringe look that we still associate with macrame today. (https://tinyworkshops.com/history-of-macrame/)
Objective:
To learn a fun, new hobby while simutaneously learning/practicing English.
