English contractions

Description

Welcome to today’s English lesson! Have you ever noticed how native speakers often combine two words into one when they speak? These shortened forms are called contractions, and they are a key part of natural, everyday English.

In this lesson, we will:

  • Learn what contractions are and why they are used.

  • Explore common contractions like I’m, don’t, you’ll, and won’t.

  • Practice recognizing and using contractions in sentences.

Using contractions correctly will help your English sound more fluent and conversational. Let’s get started!
