This beginner-level English lesson introduces children to rhyming words through listening, reading, and picture-matching activities. Students will learn to hear and recognize words that rhyme, choose pictures that rhyme with a given word, identify the word that does not rhyme, complete simple sentences using rhyming words, and practice spelling them. By the end of the lesson, students will be able to choose pictures that rhyme with a word, identify non-rhyming words, complete rhyming sentences, and correctly spell basic rhyming words.
