课程介绍
This English Breaking News lesson focuses on discussing both local and international news to help learners build confidence in expressing their opinions in English. Each session includes reading a news article, practicing related vocabulary, and engaging in discussion to improve speaking and critical thinking skills.
What do I need to prepare before the class?
The tutor will provide a news article by default. However, if you have a specific news story you’d like to discuss, feel free to send the link before the class begins. Here are trusted news sources:
What do I need to do during the class?
You will read the news article paragraph by paragraph, with the tutor guiding you through the content. Difficult words or expressions will be explained, followed by a discussion of your opinions, reactions, and insights related to the topic.
What do I need to do after the class?
After the class, a lesson report will be uploaded to your Lesson History. It will include new vocabulary from the article and a summary of your final takeaways or discussion points.
