Start speaking Spanish, one small step at a time!

Learning a new language can feel overwhelming at first, but you don't need to learn everything at once. These lessons focus on simple, useful Spanish that you can begin practising straight away.

We'll work through prepared beginner material at a comfortable pace, with opportunities to listen, repeat, ask questions, and practise short conversations.

I also speak Japanese and can help you when needed!

What you'll learn:

  • Basic greetings and polite expressions.

  • How to introduce yourself and say where you're from.

  • Numbers and useful beginner vocabulary.

  • Simple questions and answers.

  • Basic pronunciation and common sound patterns.

  • Short phrases for everyday communication.

How the lesson works:

  1. Set your goal: Tell me why you want to learn Spanish.

  2. Learn the basics: Practise a small group of useful words and phrases.

  3. Pronunciation practice: Listen, repeat, and work on clear pronunciation.

  4. Build a conversation: Use your new phrases in a simple dialogue.

  5. Review: Finish with key expressions and a short practice activity.

Who is this lesson for?

Adults who are complete beginners or have very little experience with Spanish. It's suitable for people interested in travel, everyday communication, or learning a new language for enjoyment.

You don't need any previous experience. We'll start with the basics and build from there!
