As a second language learner myself, I completely understand how stressful it can feel trying to speak a foreign language and speaking in a lesson can be even worse! Let's forget about formalities for once and just build confidence!

Goals of the Lesson:

Goals of the Lesson:
- To become familiar with everyday topics such as: the weather, worklife, relationships, health, hobbies and recent events.
- To provide a friendly and low pressure environment so students can feel less nervous and more comfortable when speaking in English.
- To offer key vocabulary and phrases used by native speakers by the lesson for students to practice using outside of class.
One of the most difficult things when learning another language is gaining the confidence to speak. This lesson is meant to be less like a formal class and more like a friendly talk with expert friend support. As the conversation progresses, students are encouraged to interrupt and ask questions about any words and phrases they don't understand or would like to know how to use in different contexts.
