Bitte beachte, dass alle Kurse in diesem Kurspaket innerhalb von 20 Tagen ab Bestätigungsdatum der ersten Kursbuchung belegt werden müssen, da sie sonst verfallen.

Travel English for Beginners – 4 Lesson Pack

Do you want to feel confident using English when you travel? This 4-lesson pack will help you step by step. Each lesson is interactive, practical, and beginner-friendly, focusing on real-life situations you’ll face abroad.

Lesson 1: Confident First Steps (30 min)

  • Vocabulary: airport, hotel, restaurant, taxi, passport, luggage.

  • Polite phrases: “Excuse me, can you help me?” / “I would like…”

  • Mini dialogues: asking for directions, ordering in a café, hotel check-in.

  • Roleplay: practice as the traveler.

  • Focus: Build confidence and learn your first essential travel phrases.

Lesson 2: Ordering Food & Drinks (30 min)

  • Vocabulary: menu, waiter, bill, coffee, water, breakfast, dinner.

  • Phrases: “Could I see the menu?” / “I would like chicken and rice.” / “Can I have the bill, please?”

  • Dialogues: ordering politely, asking for recommendations, paying.

  • Roleplay: restaurant & café practice.

  • Focus: Speak politely and confidently in cafés and restaurants.

Lesson 3: Hotel English – Requests & Check-outs (30 min)

  • Vocabulary: room key, receipt, luggage, late check-out, taxi, recommendation.

  • Phrases: “Can I have a late check-out?” / “Here is my room key.” / “Could you recommend a good restaurant?”

  • Dialogues: making requests, asking for help, checking out.

  • Roleplay: receptionist & guest practice.

  • Focus: Handle hotel conversations politely and smoothly.

 

 

Lesson 4: Exploring & Getting Around – Travel English (30 min)

Topics & Skills:

  • Vocabulary: map, street, station, bus, train, taxi, ticket, entrance, schedule, guide.

  • Phrases: “Excuse me, where is …?” / “How do I get to …?” / “Is it far from here?” / “I would like a ticket to …” / “What time does it start?” / “Can you recommend a good place to visit?”

  • Guided dialogues: asking for directions, buying tickets, visiting attractions.

  • Roleplay: student acts as traveler, teacher acts as local guide or ticket agent.

Focus: Speak English naturally when navigating cities, using public transport, and exploring tourist sites.

Cancellation of pack lessons

• 'Unstarted' lesson packs(1) can be cancelled any time. Used Points will be completely refunded. If a 'started' lesson pack(2) is cancelled, you will be refunded 50% of the price of the remaining lessons provided that the lessons are unrequested, unconfirmed or not within 24 hours of their scheduled start times.
(1) A lesson pack for which none of the requests have been confirmed by the tutor.
(2) A lesson pack with at least one confirmed request. (By confirming the date and time for the first lesson in the pack the tutor confirms the pack as a whole and coupons are automatically issued)

Cancelling individual requests in a pack

• If you wish to cancel a single lesson that belongs to a pack but not the whole pack, you can do so via the request page. In this case, the coupon used to book the lesson will either be refunded or collected, based on the tutors single-lesson cancellation policy. Please note that any 50% partial refunds in the tutors single-lesson cancellation policy do not apply to lesson packs and the tutor may choose to either refund or collect the coupon in those cases.

  • No-Show→ Stornogebühren können anfallen.
