Description

For this customized lesson, you can send me any text (maximum 500 words), which I will record and send to you in .mp3, .wav, or .ogg format. A sample clip is provided above. 

Alternatively, I can read a news article (on a random topic or a topic of your choice) and send you the recording. 

You can then use the audio recording to practice your pronunciation and listening skills. Feel free to let me know your preferred reading speed. 

I will read the text at one of the following speeds based on your preference: 

1. Normal reading speed (fast) - up to 500 words 
* For expert learners (C2) 
IELTS 8.0 -9.0 
TOEFL iBT 110 -120 

2. Articulated reading speed (moderate) - up to 400 words 
* For advanced learners  (C1) 
TOEFL iBT 95-109
英検 1 
IELTS 7 - 8 
TOEIC (Speaking) 180-200 

3. Slower reading speed - up to 300 words 
* For intermediate learners (B1 and B2) 
TOEFL iBT 42-94
英検 Pre-1 and 2  
IELTS 3.5 -7
TOEIC (Speaking) 120-170 

4. Slow reading speed - up to 250 words 
* For elementary learners (A2) 
英検 Pre-2 
IELTS 3.0 
TOEIC (Speaking) 90-110 
 
5. Very slow reading speed - up to 150 words 
* For absolute beginners (A1) 
英検 3, 4, 5 
IELTS 2.0 
TOEIC (Speaking) 50-80

Please request the appropriate number of lessons for audio recordings of texts exceeding 150 - 500 words. (E.g. for 500 words at "slow reading speed = 2 lesson requests, for 1,500 words at fast reading speech = 2 lesson requests, etc.) 

This tutor's cancellation policy

This lesson is “Immediately Confirmed”

If the requested date falls within 30 days, the request will be “confirmed” immediately without having to wait for the tutor to reply.

The policy “before request is confirmed” will not apply to requests that are confirmed immediately.

About “Immediate Confirmation”

Before request is confirmed (fixed)

  • Cancellation possible at any time without charge.

After request is confirmed (fixed)

  • Less than 1hours before lesson start time.→ 100% of price charged.
  • Between 1-6hours before lesson start time.→ 50% of price charged.
  • No-Show→ 100% of price charged.
