課程介紹
Introduction
Welcome to our German B1 course, suitable for all ages and open to everyone interested in reaching intermediate proficiency in German. Whether you are continuing from A2 or simply want to learn at this level, all are welcome. All learning takes place in class there is no homework.
Course Structure
1. Grammar
Advanced structures: Reflexive and reciprocal verbs, passive voice, subjunctive II (Konjunktiv II), and complex sentence connectors
Use of cases: Genitive, prepositions with genitive, and advanced adjective declension
Verb tenses: Practice with Futur I, Präteritum, and Plusquamperfekt
Sentence formation: Final clauses (um...zu, damit), relative clauses, and conjunctions (indem, sodass, bevor, während, nachdem)
2. Writing
Text types: Write structured texts about experiences, opinions, events, and plans
Formal communication: Emails, application letters, and short essays
Descriptive and creative writing: Describe events, dreams, and ambitions
3. Dictation
Complex sentences and short paragraphs: Focus on accuracy with advanced vocabulary and grammar
4. Listening
Understand clear standard speech: Conversations, interviews, and media on everyday topics
Identify main ideas, tone, and context: Practice note-taking and understanding spoken German in real-life situations
5. Comprehension
Read diverse texts: Articles, stories, reports, and opinion pieces
Extract information: Understand and analyze content from news, fiction, and professional materials
