早速ですが、私が日本語オンラインレッスン講師になった理由お話しさせてくださいね！
私はコロナ禍の少し前から英語を上達させたくて、英語のオンラインレッスンを受けていました。
そこで、その外国人の先生たちが、楽しくレッスンしてるのを、パソコンの画面越しに見て、私もやってみたいなって思ったのが始まりです。
私は、以前、西新宿の超高層ホテルで働いていました。
当時の同僚には、台湾人、中国人、イタリア人、アメリカ人など、様々な国籍の人がいました。
当時は、その同僚たちに、日本語を教えることが多々あり、その時もとても楽しかったんです( ◠‿◠ )
このことが、日本語を教えることが好きになったきっかけなのかもしれません。
私は日本生まれで、また、東京以外に住んだことがありません。
だから、レッスンを通じて、外国人の生徒さん達の感覚の違いなどを教えてもらうのはとても楽しく興味深いです。
もちろん、外国人の生徒さんも私の話を聞いて、「日本ってそういう国なんだ！」とか、「自分の国とは全然違うなー」などの発見があり、また、このような感想を言ってくださることも多いです。
オンラインだから、リアルではないパソコン越しではありますが、温かい国際交流のひとときを過ごすことができています。

Hello!
I’m Kumikitty, an online Japanese language teacher.
First of all, I’d like to tell you why I became an online Japanese teacher.
A little before the COVID-19 pandemic, I started taking online English lessons because I wanted to improve my English.
Watching my foreign teachers enjoying their lessons through the computer screen inspired me. I thought, “I’d love to do that too!” That’s how it all began.
Before becoming a Japanese teacher, I worked at a luxury high-rise hotel in Nishi-Shinjuku, Tokyo.
Many of my coworkers came from different countries, including Taiwan, China, Italy, and the United States.
I often helped them learn Japanese, and I really enjoyed it every time.
Looking back, I think that may have been what sparked my love of teaching Japanese.
I was born in Japan, and I’ve never lived anywhere except Tokyo.
That’s why I find it so interesting and enjoyable to learn about my students’ cultures and different ways of thinking through our lessons.
At the same time, my students often tell me things like, “So that’s what Japan is like!” or “That’s completely different from my country!”
I love being able to share these discoveries with each other.
Even though our lessons take place online through a computer screen, we’ve been able to enjoy warm and meaningful moments of international exchange.
