Tunisia vs. Japan – A Football Match Written Like an Anime!

Emir_

Hello everyone!

Tomorrow is a very big day for football fans, especially for my students and me! The Eagles of Carthage (Tunisia) are facing the Samurai Blue (Japan) in an incredibly exciting World Cup match.

Because of the time zone difference, we will be waking up at different times but sharing the exact same passion:

Tunisia Time: Sunday at 5:00 AM ??

Japan Time: Sunday at 1:00 PM (13:00) ☀️

?? A Match of "Anime" Characters?

What makes this game even more thrilling are the tactical storylines behind it. My students and I were just laughing about how this feels like a live-action sports anime

The "Fox" (Renard) ??: Tunisia just appointed a highly experienced new coach, Hervé Renard. Known for his tactical boldness, he is ready to transform the team.

The "Death Note" ??: On the other side, Japan's coach, Hajime Moriyasu (whose first name beautifully means "the beginning"), is famous for his strict discipline and for constantly writing strategies in his notebook during games, just like a character from a psychological anime!

Whether it is watching the tactical masterminds on the bench, monitoring the incredible reflexes of Japan's star goalkeeper Zaion Suzuki, or waiting for a Tunisian breakthrough, this Sunday is going to be unforgettable.

In my lessons, we love using real-world passions like sports, music (from Michael Jackson to Fujii Kaze!), and global culture to master a new language naturally and without stress. Talking about what we love is the absolute best way to learn!

My biggest wish for tomorrow is a beautiful, fair game where both sides play their absolute best. I hope both Japanese and Tunisian fans end the day with big smiles on their faces!

What are your score predictions for tomorrow?
