Try:
- What makes you say that? (curious, not aggressive)
- Can you share an example? (super useful)
- What’s your reasoning? (more formal)
Mini practice (20 seconds):
Write a 2-line mini dialogue:
A: “I think remote work is better.”
B: Ask: “What makes you say that?”
