Dear students,

Thank you as always for taking my lessons on Cafetalk.

I have an important announcement about my schedule. In about two weeks I will be moving back to the UK. I have accepted a new full-time job as an EAL (English as an Additional Language) Specialist, and I’m very excited to support immigrant children in British schools as they learn English and build new lives there.

I plan to continue teaching on Cafetalk during December, but because of moving, travelling back to the UK, and then the time difference, my schedule will have limited availability, and the lesson times will change. For this reason, I will be disabling all lesson packs for now, as I cannot guarantee that I will be able to complete them reliably during this transition period.

I am hoping to continue some lessons in 2026, because I really enjoy teaching my students here on Cafetalk. However, I cannot promise anything yet, as I need to focus on my new full-time job first. Thank you very much for your patience and understanding while I explore my options.

Thank you for the past almost two years on Cafetalk – it has truly been a joy to teach you!

いつもCafetalkで私のレッスンを受講してくださり、本当にありがとうございます。

今日は今後のスケジュールについて大切なお知らせがあります。
約2週間後に、私はイギリスへ本帰国することになりました。イギリスの学校で、EAL（English as an Additional Language／英語を母語としない子どもたちの英語教育）のスペシャリストとしてフルタイムの仕事をいただき、移民の子どもたちが英語を学び、新しい生活に慣れていくのをサポートする予定です。この新しいチャレンジをとても楽しみにしています。

12月中もCafetalkでのレッスンは続ける予定ですが、日本からイギリスへの引っ越しと移動、そして時差の関係で、スケジュールはかなり限られたものになります。また、レッスン可能な時間帯もこれまでと変わってしまいます。
そのため、当面はすべてのレッスンパックを停止させていただきます。移動や環境の変化がある中で、パックを最後まで確実に実施できる保証が難しいためです。

2026年以降も、できれば少しずつCafetalkでのレッスンを続けたいと思っています。ここでのレッスンは、私にとって本当に楽しく、大切な時間だからです。
ただ、新しいフルタイムの仕事にまず集中しなければならないため、現時点では「必ず続けられます」とお約束することができません。今後の形を少しずつ考えていきますので、あたたかく見守っていただけましたら嬉しいです。

この約2年間、Cafetalkで皆さまと一緒に学び、レッスンができたことは、私にとって大きな喜びでした。本当にありがとうございます。
