I have been on Cafetalk for a year already!
It has been amazing to meet so many wonderful Asian people and have some insights into their culture, tradition and different reasons they have for learning and using English language.
This is the first time that I have an opportunity to associate with Japanese people, and some other Asian people and I am absolutely thrilled and astonished with their exceptional kindness and generosity.
I have been teaching English for more than 20 years and have lived all around the world and have been teaching in different cultures and traditions, but never before have I had the chance to meet Japanese people.
There is one thing I can say after this year and all the people that I have met - I am saving money to come and visit Japan!
Amazing journey. I feel so privileged to have found this platform and applied to be a teacher here. After more than 20 years of experience working as a native teacher in many countries, finally I have a chance to meet first hand this extraordinary culture and exceptional people who live here.
