Your Body is Trying to Tell You Something (Are You Listening?)

Lewis B

Hey everyone,

I want to talk about something we often ignore—our bodies. Not how they look, but what they’re trying to tell us.

You know those days when you’re craving something salty out of nowhere? Or when you feel tired even after a full night’s sleep? Or when your stomach feels off, but you can’t figure out why?

That’s not random. That’s your body speaking.

For years, I taught people to ignore those signals. Follow the plan. Stick to the calories. Push through the fatigue. But I was wrong—so wrong.

Our bodies aren’t working against us. They’re sending us clues. And when we learn to listen, everything changes.

That afternoon crash? It’s not laziness. It might be your body asking for better-balanced meals—more protein, fewer quick carbs.

Craving sweets after dinner? It’s not a lack of discipline. It could mean you didn’t eat enough during the day, or your meals lacked satisfaction.

Feeling bloated or low energy? It’s not normal. It might be your body saying certain foods don’t work for you—even if they’re “healthy.”

We’re so quick to silence these signals with more coffee, more restriction, or more guilt. But what if we got curious instead?

What if…

• You paused when a craving hit and asked, “What am I really needing right now?”
• You noticed how certain foods make you feel—not just how they taste?
• You honored your energy levels instead of fighting them?

This isn’t woo-woo stuff. It’s the foundation of tuning in, not tuning out.

When I work with clients now, we start here. Not with rules, but with awareness. Because no generic plan can tell you what your body uniquely needs. Only you can learn that—with a little guidance.

You already have the best expert on your body: you. You just might need help translating what it’s saying.

If you’re tired of fighting your body and ready to finally understand it, I’d love to help. Together, we’ll learn to listen—and respond with kindness, not control.

Your body is talking. Are you ready to hear what it has to say?

Let’s learn your body’s language. Book a call with me, and we’ll start the conversation.
