Cafetalk 2025 Year in Review

The memory with the biggest impact this year was probably the end of Skype.
The shocking news that Skype, which had connected our Cafetalk students and tutors worldwide
since the launch of Cafetalk in 2010, would be ending, arrived on a Friday at the end of February.

We imagine it was a stressful period for all our students and tutors as they faced losing their familiar calling app.

However, we've overcome this difficult time together. Now, alongside major calling apps
like Zoom and Google Meet, our original calling app, Lattep, is widely used.
Thanks to this variety of options a more convenient and comfortable online lesson environment
is gradually taking shape. Furthermore, this year saw the addition of the “Immediate Confirmation” system,
and we plan to keep adding new features going forward.

While there are still many areas that may be unclear or lacking,
we will continue working throughout 2026 to create an environment
where everyone can enjoy their lessons and focus on learning.
