  In this lesson, we discussed the background and personal thoughts of young and older people when changing jobs, which was mentioned in the previous material. It seems that there are some similarities in the circumstances of changing jobs in Australia and Japan, and I was convinced that people of a similar age have similar ways of thinking about changing jobs. Towards the end of the lesson, I was able to listen about the differences in the use of weights and measures that native English speakers naturally acquire in their daily lives, and I felt that it was important to learn about this point honestly without getting too hung up on the reasons.

  高校生の娘が、共通テストでアメリカ英語以外のリスニングもあるということで、オーストラリア英語の先生を探していてレッスンを受けています。明るくて話しやすい先生で、レッスン中は笑いがたえないようです。生の英語でたくさん話しかけてくれて、分からないときは日本語で意味を伝えてくれるし、うまく返答できないときも辛抱強く待ってくれて、どうしても無理な場合は日本語でやりとりできます。といって日本語ばかりになるわけでもなく、しっかりと英語でレッスンを作ってくれるとてもいい先生です。
