Hello and welcome!

I’m a native Indonesian speaker based in the Netherlands. I recently graduated with a Master’s degree in International Development Studies, specialising in Migration & Development, and I’m happy to be back on Cafetalk after taking some time away to complete my studies. 

I have lived, studied, and worked across Indonesia, Japan, Uganda, Kenya, and the Netherlands. Along the way, I’ve also worked part-time as an online and in-person tutor since 2014, teaching both languages and academic subjects. 

On Cafetalk, I offer:

  • Indonesian Language - Practical Indonesian for beginners, everyday conversation, travel, pronunciation, and real-life communication.
  • Let’s Explore the Real World - Thoughtful but accessible conversations about migration, culture, identity, belonging, inequality, and global development.
  • Everyday English Conversation - Friendly speaking practice for learners who want to become more comfortable using English in everyday life.

Before the lesson, we tailor the topic to your needs and interests. During the lesson, we learn in an open, engaging space. Afterward, you receive a lesson summary and feedback attachment.
