Her lessons were always well-structured, allowing students to build confidence and skills effectively. She provided clear and actionable feedback during sessions, addressing any misconceptions immediately and ensuring continuous improvement. It is clear she puts significant effort into each student, acting as both a mentor and a guide, and her supportive approach has instilled a genuine love for learning the language. Highly recommended for anyone looking to make significant progress.
Mika-sensei's 25-minute beginner Japanese lesson is just the right length to avoid feeling overwhelmed but also to make solid progress. I've been taking this lesson weekly for the past few months and have noticed a huge improvement in my Japanese speaking skill and confidence. The lesson pack offers excellent value for those who are serious learners.
I'm always impressed by Mika-sensei's warmth and her gentle, friendly manner, which makes me feel comfortable and at ease. She patiently waits for me to answer whenever I am stuck, which I appreciate so much!
On top of all this, she uses excellent materials that allow me to practice new grammar points thoroughly, and to work at a steady pace. She also has a great ear, always bringing my attention to mistakes not only in my grammar but also my pronunciation - which is hugely important for an English learner of Japanese like me.
Thank you Mika-sensei, I appreciate you so much and I look forward to many more lessons together!
It’s always a pleasure to talk with Monica. I feel very comfortable during her lessons — she creates a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. I also really appreciate that she clearly knows what she’s doing. I feel confident learning with her.
